Refund Policy

1. Refund Policy

Refunds can only be requested if Sigma EdTech fails to provide the services promised to the student as per the agreed terms and compliance. Refund requests must be accompanied by a written application along with the original fee receipt provided by Sigma EdTech.

2. Refund Process

  • l Any refund will be processed only after receiving written approval from the Accounts Department.
  •  Refunds will be initiated within 45 to 60 working days after approval.
  •  All refunds will be made via cheque only.

3. Non-Payment of Fees

  • l Failure to pay the program fees within the prescribed timeline will result in late fee charges.
  • l Students who do not adhere to the installment timeline will not be permitted to appear for exams.
  • l Failure to pay the full program fees by the deadline will result in the cancellation of admission.

4. Admission Cancellation

If a student's admission is canceled due to non-compliance with eligibility requirements or non-payment of program fees within the prescribed timeline, they will not be eligible for any refund, and no such requests will be entertained.

5. Excess/Unidentified Payments

  • l Sigma EdTech is not responsible for refunding any excess or unidentified payments made by students for program fees, courses, exams, or other charges.
  • l Excess payments may be applied towards other services (as permitted by Sigma EdTech) within the same financial year, subject to approval from the Authorized Signatory. A formal application must be submitted for such adjustments by 31st March of the relevant financial year, with proof of payment.
  • l Demand drafts received without proper student identification or fee details will be placed in a suspense account. Such payments can be claimed or transferred to the student’s account within the same financial year, provided a formal application is submitted by 31st March, with supporting documentation.

6. Non-Refundable Fees

Registration fees, examination fees, and revaluation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

7.Late Admissions

Students admitted after the regular deadline will not be eligible for any refunds or changes in program/specialization. Late admissions will not qualify for installment plans or extensions in program fee deadlines.

8. Payment Instructions

Students are advised not to send any fees in the form of cash via post or courier. Sigma EdTech is not responsible for the loss or non-return of cash sent by these methods.
